International Student Requirements

Part of the vision of the Ministry Training Institue is to train up Ministers and Leaders from around the world and send them back into their own nation as a ready tool in the hand of God. To make application to attend our Training Facility from outside of Canada, we request that you complete these steps. A letter of acceptance will only be issued to those who have full intentions of returning to their country upon the completion of the program.

1. We need all of the following from you before we even consider acceptance:

a. Completed application form, including health form and financial form. We also need the three confidential reference forms, but please have them sent by the people who fill them out.

b. Registration fee in Canadian or US dollars.

c. A breakdown of financial arrangements while you are in Canada. This should include a photocopy of bank draft showing you are able to meet financial requirements or letter from sponsor(s) showing commitment and ability to pay for the full term of the program.

d. A phone number and a fax number or e-mail address where we can communicate more quickly than regular mail.

e. Passport information, including passport number

 

2. After we have recieved the previous information we will send you:

a. A letter of acceptance to GMTC.

b. Letter of invite for Canadian Consulate which will contain Training Fees and room and board expenses, etc.

 

3. Finally, go to the Canadian immigration web site and look at the requirements to apply for a study visa, and then apply.
